Being Thankful & Thanksgiving
Good Morning, how are you? Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving? I have heard for some it was bitter sweet, but all said one thing in common that they still had so much to be thankful for.
We were especially thankful to be able to spend a couple of days with some very good friends, in their first home together and were also joined by our daughter and two granddaughters. We don’t see them very often these days as everyone is so busy, so that was great. Then to another good friend to spend time with them, some of their family and friends of their family which happened to include 3 active military members and one who is now in the reserves. Being surrounded by such energy was great if not a little exhausting. Good times.
December Is Here
Now we are welcoming the arrival of December and all of the celebrations this month has to offer. I know some people who knit and crochet all year for this season, and some who set themselves big goals about now in the hopes of completing a bunch of projects in time.
Each year I hear the same thing, I should have started sooner. “why didn’t I?’ So join us for our last Minute Gift Classes in December, see our homepage for details!
To help you out a little if you find yourself in this situation, we have set up some workshops. Beginning this Saturday and continuing throughout the month. Some of the projects you will be able to complete in an afternoon, some may take a couple of evenings to finish but all will be quick works and make lovely gifts. Some materials will be provided, others you will need to purchase the supplies. Each session will go from 2 – 5pm and you are sure to have a lot of fun. Come in and check out some of the projects we have on offer. As you can understand the space will be somewhat limited, so please let us know if you will be attending, we really want this to be a fun and jolly time.

Getting Back to My Knitting
Thought we would tuck in a cute free knitting pattern for the holidays here. Everyone can use an elf this time of year and here is a free pattern for an adorable elf.
OK that is enough from me this week. Don’t forget to check our upcoming classes, we’re working on more for January, but still enough time to get in for a class or two before the years end.
Now I am going to pick up my needles for a while, I have some of my own projects to finish.
Take good care, until next time then, happiness begins with yarn ~ Hugs Trudy
