Come join our class where you will learn how to make a fast simple yet stunningly beautiful and practical cowl. In addition, you will learn how to adapt this pattern to whatever yarn (aran or bulky weight) strikes your fancy.
This fast and easy cowl is perfect for our Sonoma County cool winter weather just around the corner and makes a perfect Christmas gift.
New techniques include:
In addition to learning how to make the cowl, you will also learn a special and unique bind-off technique (Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-off) for use in garments that need to stretch (shawls, cowls, cuffs of socks, etc.). Once you learn this technique you will use it over and over again and never again worry about a bind-off that is too tight.
For this class you need to know how to:
Cast-on, knit and purl. While this is not a beginning class, the project is certainly appropriate for a newbie to the knitting scene.
