Happy New Year
Well Hello there,

We would like to wish you a very Happy, Healthy, Prosperous and successful 2016.

Now that the holidays are once more behind us and we have taken a breath, it is time to move on, plan, and get ready.

We had to think long and hard about closing the shop for inventory last week. The store hasn’t been closed for that long since its inception in April 2011. We tried to let everyone know about the closure but as always best laid plans and all that. There were a few folk who didn’t find out until they came to visit. Our apologies for that, hopefully it will be worth it when we reopen tomorrow. We are certainly happy to have everything counted, organized and tidied up!

We spent the first three and a half days this year, taking the inventory. Now we have a much better idea of where we are. We will continue to try and move things out and make way for lots of new and yummy goodness. We have lots and lots of great ideas, all we need is the time to bring them to fruition.

This week is the beginning of a great new chapter for us with the CustomFit program. The workshops are already filling up for this month. If you have signed up and for some reason cannot make it please let us know as we have people waiting for certain sessions. This is going to be fun and we are very excited. We are certain to have just what you need to complete your very first made to measure sweater. Whether it be for now, warm coziness or for the spring and summer to ward of those early morning and late night chills we are sure you will make a sweater you will love! Unfortunately due to the fact I have been busy taking care of business I haven’t finished my first one of this program, so I will be working right along side of you.

Everyone who attended the Knit the Sky workshop had a great time.  We hope to bring Lea Redmond back for a second class this summer.

Later this month we will be welcoming Lee Gant in for a casual get together where she will talk about her book, Love in every stitch. She will also be giving you a little taste of her upcoming book. There will be some light refreshments and it should be a fun time. Please RSVP ASAP, so that you don’t miss out on the fun. These workshops tend to fill up fast and we don’t want you to be disappointed.

Can you believe this weather? Yes we need the rain desperately but are you prepared? Do you have enough projects to keep you warm, cozy and content? Need suggestions? As always we are here for you no matter your skill level we can find just the right something to keep you happy. The heater is on, the store has been cleaned, and all it needs now is you! Come on in and join us.
