We Are Sonoma County Strong
Good Morning, I hope this finds you healthy, happy and safe. Well what a couple of weeks we have all had. Hopefully you are able to get back to some kind of normality. Unfortunately, there are so many that have been displaced I can’t even imagine. I am having a hard time getting my head on straight and I am still in my own home.
Thank you #SonomaCountyStrong for this photo
Knitting for Those Who Lost their Homes
As you may know we have been collecting yarn for people to either knit up something warm, or to give to those who have lost their stash for those who lost everything. If they knit or crochet the physical act of doing it can be so soothing. If they don’t the fact that someone took the time to create something warm for them with not only keep them comfortable but fill them with the love of the person who took time to make it for them. Can you imagine how that would feel at a time like this. Anyway, the donations have been coming in so if you know anyone that would like to help, or anyone who needs some help just come on in and choose a project or two.
Stocking Up for Knitting Season
Other than the fire we have been having fun in the store, stocking up for the knitting season ahead. I know there are a lot of people out there that do knit year-round but there are also those who like to wait for the cold days and nights to get the hooks and needles out. We are ready!!!!!!
All of the teachers and myself got together and made out a list of classes we will be holding very soon. The input from the survey was very helpful. We are working on dates and times and as soon as we have everything planned out they will start appearing on the website. We also have implemented a class interest sheet. If you are in the store and you think of something you would like to learn write it on the sheet along with your name, phone number and the times you are available for classes and we will see what we can do. We will be having some evening classes so that’s something to look forward to.

We have so much yarn, both the regular standby’s and some great brand-new yarns to share with you. I am not sure you remember a while back I was telling you about the Ushya, but we now have it in stock, in 10 amazingly snuggly colors.
There is a lot more Malabrigo too, we have topped up on the Arroyo, Rios, Chunky and Mecha , we also added Mechita, and Caracol. Don’t you just love Malabrigo?
This week has flown by and I have run out of time, so I am going to finish this for this week so that it can get to you. I will try to do better next time. So, for now I will leave you with my best wishes, together we will make it through, stay safe and keep smiling. I am forever grateful and truly blessed.
